C_school is doing something different. They offer free programming courses and jobs for Junior Developers.
But the problem lies in the recruitment process - how to find the people with the most potential? We wanted to explore the issue and find the best way to choose from thousands of applicants.
We started, as always, with research. Our team interviewed experienced Developers, recruiters, Juniors and C_school candidates.
We also included a behavioral scientist, a psychologist and an experience Team Leader in the studies. They helped us when building a 2-step application process. We created two games - each one tested different characteristics to then find the best candidates.

The deadline suddenly got tighter and we needed to deliver in 10 days. Our team got to work and decided to use Firebase and Angular 6. Thanks to this tech choice we were able to build the core of the app in 3 days.
The final product was a fully functional application app containing the users’ accounts, the test and two games. Each action the candidates took in the app is tracked so that we can create behaviour models and evaluate how the candidates think and solve problems.
